Geography was the only other class I loved when I was young. It was picture-based, and maps especially spoke to me. If your formative years were BC (before computers) then your frame of reference, like mine, might be the old school maps that were tinted in pastel colors. They were lowered over the chalkboard like a window shade four times larger than any SmartBoard.  I caught the travel bug daydreaming over these vistas. Some destinations are still dreams but the maps will always feel like tickets to adventures.
